Colloquium is delighted to be taking part in this year’s Freshers’ Fair at TCD. Freshers’ Fair is an opportunity for students to discover the many societies, organizations, initiatives, and communities that make up student life at Trinity.
This year, the Colloquium will be making its first informal appearance at the Fair, giving students an opportunity to meet us, learn more about what we do, and find out how they can become involved.
Meet our Chairman
If you are around the Main Square, keep an eye out, you might spot our Chairman!
Rather than having a traditional society stand this year, our presence will be informal. You can simply come over, say hello and have a conversation about the Colloquium, our activities and the opportunities we create for law students.
Whether you are a new student just beginning your journey at Trinity, a returning student, or simply interested in getting involved in the Colloquium, we would be very happy to meet you.
You can ask questions, share an idea, tell us what you would like to see from the Colloquium, or simply have a chat about student life and the law community at Trinity.
What is the Law Student Colloquium?
The TCD Law Student Colloquium is a student-led initiative that brings students together around law, ideas, and discussion. It provides opportunities for students to engage with legal topics beyond the classroom, meet other students, participate in academic and social activities, and contribute their own ideas to the Trinity community.
Our aim is simple: to create a space where students can discuss, engage, and belong.
The Colloquium is also a platform for students who want to develop their skills, contribute to events and projects, meet academics and professionals, and become part of a wider community of students interested in law.
Our first step at Freshers’ Fair
This year’s Freshers’ Fair presence is a small but exciting first step for the Colloquium. We hope that it will allow us to meet new faces, hear new ideas, and introduce more students to what we do.
And who knows, next time, we hope to have a Colloquium stand of our very own!
