First of all, thank you all so much for your support. Today was certainly not an easy day for us. It was difficult and challenging, but we got through it and we continue to move forward, confidently and with determination. We truly appreciate everyone who stood by us.
Today, we would also like to share a particularly meaningful phrase with you and, at the same time, introduce a new series on our page: “Quotes of the Day.” ✨
From time to time, we will share interesting, inspiring and insightful quotations, expressions and historical phrases together with a little story behind them.
Our first quote is:
“Pater, dimitte illis, non enim sciunt quid faciunt.”
“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
📖 Luke 23:34
These words come from the Gospel according to Luke, where they are presented as words spoken by Jesus during the Crucifixion. The Latin version became particularly well known through the Vulgate, the historic Latin translation of the Bible.
The phrase has endured for centuries as a powerful reflection on forgiveness, compassion and the ability to remain humane even in moments of profound injustice and suffering.
Sometimes, the strongest response is not to give up — but to keep moving forward.
Stay tuned for more Quotes of the Day. ⚖️✨
